The Southwest - Winter 2007
Carlsbad Caverns
Lou says.....

We stayed that night in the town of Carlsbad and planned to go to the caverns, 15 miles to the south, the next day and spend a few hours there before continuing on. However when we arrived at White's City, the entrance to the carvens, we found a campground there. The prices were very reasonable and we deicided to stay there that night if we needed more than a few hours to see the carverns. NOAA indicated the weather system would keep moving east out of our path.

At the caverns the picture taking was going so well that we spent all day in the caverns. Needless to say we stayed that night at the White's City campground.
