The Southwest - Winter 2007
Burrr...It sure is cold!
Lou says.....

We belong to the Escapees camping club so we stayed at Dream Catcher,  their RV park in Deming. The park is a WiFi hot spot having 2 hotels near by. This was good opportinuty to start work on creating the web pages for this trip so we decided to stay for 2 nights.

In the morning it was 10.8 degrees on the digital thermometer! Burrr...! We had never camped in weather this cold so didn't know if we would have trouble with the water lines or water tanks freezing. Fortunately all was fine.  Some of the other campers were not so fortunate as I could see large puddles of water under their rigs. The next night it was 18 degrees. We were out of the storm but not away from the cold.

Although the weather was cold the hospitality was warm and friendly and we enjoyed a great ice cream social in the clubhouse the night before we departed for Tucson, Az.
